Azhar Muhammad Usman, also known as Azhar Usman is a famous American comedian, actor, writer, and film producer of Indian descent who was born on December 23, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
He is a former lecturer, community activist and lawyer and has been referred to as the “Ayatollah of Comedy” and “Bin Laughin”. He is best known as one third of comedy trio Allah Made Me Funny. This comedian has gained huge popularity for his role in Ms. Marvel (2022)

Azhar Muhammad Usman was born in Chicago and mostly lived in Jewish Chicago suburb of Skokie, Illinois, United States. His father is a veterinarian named Zia Usman (a graduate of Aligarh Muslim University) and his mother is a housewife, who’s name is Atiya Usman. His family left Bihar, India and emigrated to the United States in 1970.
Usman graduated from Niles West High School in Skokie, Illinois. In 1996, he graduated with a BA degree in Communication and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and in 1999 a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School.
