Declan Hannigan is an English actor, who made his acting debut with The Secret of Roan Inish (1994). Since then he has acted in movies like Good (2008), The Tournament (2015), Zero (2015), The Martian (2015), The White King (2016) and Spectral (2016). Hannigan has also been cast in TV shows like Birdsong (2012), The Borgias (2011-2013), Strike Back (2010-2017), Dracula (2013-2014), Fleming (2014), The Last Kingdom (2015- ) and Guilt (2016). In 2017 he acted in director David Leitch’s action-thriller, Atomic Blonde. The cast has Charlize Theron in the lead, with James McAvoy, John Goodman, Sofia Boutella, Eddie Marsan and Toby Jones playing supporting roles. Declan has acted in lots of great films and TV shows with actors like Jared Harris, Charlize Theron and James McAvoy. The Terror, The Witcher, The Martian, Atomic Blonde. Via a stint in Hungary he became an expert in applying improvisation theatre techniques to all kinds of work. He most enjoys bringing those principles to the set as director.
