Ishraque Hossain is the son of politician Sadique Hossain Khoka. Sadique Hossain Khoka was a Bangladeshi politician who served as the 2nd mayor of Dhaka City Corporation during 2002 to 2011. He was the vice chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and was President of undivided Dhaka city BNP for longest period of the organisation’s existence.
