Early life
Julia Montes was born in Quezon City in March 19, 1995, her mother is Gemma Hautea, Filipino and her father Martin Schnittka, German. Her father abandoned her when she was a baby and only her mother with a deafness problem raised her, with the help of her maternal grandmother, Flory Hautea. She has relatives in Germany and one of them is Andrea Schnittka, with whom she shares a similarity.
At the age of 5, Montes began attending modeling and modeling agencies. She remembers her and her grandmother’s dedication through: going to college, rushing to school and losing family time in the process until she was given a role in sponsorship of dairy brands, chocolate snacks and fast food. However, Montes said he has never competed with anyone and only in the entertainment industry for his needs. Describing his ambitions as a child, Montes said, “Since I was a child, I have only had three dreams: to be a soldier, cook and flight attendant.”
Personal life
In June 2015, Montes completed her culinary career at the Culinary Arts Center in Manila with fellow actor Yam Concepcion. He was a Catholic. In December 2016, Montes reunites with his biological father, Martin Schnittka, at Bellini’s, Cubao, Quezon City. She revealed it through her Instagram account of meeting with her father and expressed gratitude to her German cousin Michelle Lloyd and CocoJul fans for opening the way to meet him.
Career
2001-2011: The beginning of a career and success
Montes started out as a commercial model before appearing in various television shows. The final episode of the show gained 45.4% of viewership nationwide. Untitled emerged as the most watched show in the second half of 2012, dominating the list with a national TV rating of 38.4% based on Media Media. Following the success of the series, Infinity airs overseas with Mother, Sister, Son , andBe Careful With My Heart . The series entitles Montes to the title of “Phenomenal Primetime Princess;” she was eventually named “Princess of Philippine Television” during the 44th Box Office Entertainment Awards (GMMSFI).
