Kunal Kapur is an Indian celebrity chef and restaurateur, best known as the host and judge of the TV series MasterChef India Season 1, 2 and 3 aired on Star Plus and Junior Masterchef India Season 1. He was born in New Delhi to a Punjabi family in 18 September, 1979.

Biography
From a very early age, Kapur took a liking to cooking and pursued it to become one of the most well-known chefs in India. He trains underprivileged & unemployed youth in cooking and helps raise funds to make their own sustained food business together with United Ways Delhi. He is also passionate about automobiles, technology, travel, fashion and history. His parents wanted to make him a banker. But from childhood he had passion for cooking. So he decided to be a chef and make his own career as he want.
