Early life

Macarena García was born in April 26, 1988 in  Madrid, Spain. Her father was a director and her mother is a housewife. She completed her schooling in her hometown and she is graduated from Autonomous University of Madrid. Her brother named Javier Ambrossi, who is also an actor.

Carrier

She first studied Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid before devoting herself completely to her work as an actress. She began his training at the age of eight with artistic gymnastics . At fourteen she began to combine it with the dance, both modern and funk , at the Carmen Senra school and at the Broadway Academy.

For several years she received private singing classes with Rosario Ruiz and Nora Troyani, as well as complementing her training with guitar lessons with Nuria Zamora.

Early work

She got her first role in a musical at the age of thirteen, when she played Canelilla in En la nombre de la Infanta Carlota , by Jana producciones, a musical that was on the bill for several seasons at the Teatro de Madrid. Shee worked in the musical about High School Musical as the main character with Daniel Diges.

From there, she has participated in various television series with episodic characters such as Hospital Central , Punta Escarlata or El internado . In 2010 she starred in the Telecinco miniseries El Pacto, where she played Ana, a young girl who with her group of friends decided to get pregnant.

However, the role that makes it known to the general public is that of Chelo, the daughter of the doormen in Amar in troubled times between 2010 and 2012. In the summer of 2011 released the series of mystery Punta Scarlet in Telecinco, where she played Rachel Solis.

2012

In cinema, she was the protagonist of the Spanish adaptation of Blancanieves , directed by Pablo Berger and premiered in 2012 . A work that brought her important awards such as the Silver Shell to the best actress of the San Sebastian Film Festival and her first Goya Award for the best revelation actress .

2013-2015

From May 2, 2013 starred for almost 2 years the play call in the Lara Theater , musical written and directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvowhere she played María Casado, a young electrolatino lover who goes to a Christian camp with her best friend Susana Romero ( Anna Castillo ). There, she receives a call from God that will make him rethink his future. The actress left production in January 2015 to focus on other projects, being replaced by Claudia Traisac. In 2013 she also worked in the series of Antena 3 , Moon, the mystery of Calenda , where Vera played a vital and dreamy young man who falls in love with Nacho ( Fran Perea ), an patoso civil guard her senior.  Also that year she starred in the Spanish miniseriesStolen children playing Violeta in the first chapter.  In February 2014 she premiered the first season of the B & B series , from Boca en Boca de Telecinco giving life to Sonia, a young journalism student who starts working in the magazine where her mother works ( Belén Rueda ).

In September 2015, Telecinco premiered the second season in prime-time. The series ended on December 30, 2015 not being renewed for a third season. December 13 In 2015 also starredthe telefilm English The Spanish of Spanish Television with Carles Francino andLola Herrera , an adaptation of the famous exemplary novels by Miguel de Cervantes .  On December 4, 2015 Palmeras en la nieve premiered , by Fernando González Molina , a film in which Macarena plays Julia, a woman ahead of her time who lived at the time when Fernando Poo (now Bioko) was part of of the Spanish Guinea.

2016

In August 2016, the filming of the film adaptation of the play called The Call began , which starred, being also directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo along with much of the cast of the work as Anna Castillo , Gracia Olayo , Belén Cuesta and Richard Collins-Moore, as well as some additions such as Secun de la Rosa , Víctor Elías and María Isabel Díaz.  In November 2016, she joins the shooting of the movie Que loo Dios y lo visto , a comedy directed by Curro Velázquez and starring Karra Elejalde and Alain Hernández .

On December 2, 2016 premieres the comedy Villaviciosa next to Nacho García Velilla . In it gives life to a young prostitute of the local hostess in which the plot of the story is centered. Share the poster with great country comedians such as Carmen Machi , Carmen Ruiz and Yolanda Ramos among others.

2017

In June 2017, she joined the third season of the Spanish Television series El Ministerio del Tiempo , where she played the young Lola Mendieta.

2018

In January 2018 she began recording for La 1 La otra mirada , a series that starred in the life of Manuela, the new director of an academy of young ladies from Seville in the 1920s. The actress shared the cast with Ana Wagener , Patricia López Arnaiz and Cecilia Freire , among others. Its premiere occurs on April 25, 2018, in prime-time .
