María Pedraza is a Spanish film and television actress she was starred in 2017 film AMAR , she is well known for played the role of Alison Parker in the series of Antena 3 La casa de Papel.

Early life

María Pedraza was born in January 26, 1996 in Madrid, Spain. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. She completed her schooling in her hometown and she is graduated from University of Madrid.

Career

Pedraza was discovered in her Instagram account by film director Esteban Crespo , who invited her to audition for the main actress of her debut feature AMAR after seeing her publications on the social network.  Maria appeared and obtained the role of Laura , integrating a cast also made by Pol Monen , Natalia Tena , Gustavo Salmerón and Nacho Fresneda . The film was released in theaters on 21 March 2017.

Her second project as an actress was to give life to Alison Parker , daughter of the British ambassador in Spain, in the popular series of Atresmedia La Casa de Papel . The subsequent purchase of the same by Netflix earned the actress both national and international recognition. That same year she was part of the cast of the web series produced by RTVE for his Playz platform If you were you , playing the roles of Alba Ruiz Alonso and Cristina Romero . It is an interactive series in which users voted weekly to decide how the story continued. This gave rise to a telefilm, released on December 4, 2017 in La 1 .

At the beginning of 2018 the participation of Pedraza in the second original Spanish series of Netflix entitled Élite was announced , where it shares the cast with the actors of La Casa de Papel Miguel Herrán and Jaime Lorente .

Elite premiered on October 5 of that same year.  After finishing the recording of it, Atresmedia confirmed that the actress would be the protagonist of Toy Boy , her new fiction produced by Plano a Plano . 

In addition, between September and October the film “Who would you take to a desert island? , directed by Jota Linaresand for Netflix, platform with which the actress repeats after Elite .  The film was presented at the XXII edition of the Malaga Festival and its premiere is scheduled for April 12, 2019.
