Calamawy started her career acting in short films.she is best known for her role in the TV series Ramy as Dina Hassan. Her first major film role was in 2013, when she starred in Tobe Hooper’s film Djinn, which was the first horror film to be produced in the United Arab Emirates. May is also best known for appearing in Disney + Series Moon Light as. Layla El-Faouly also began her career as a short film actress.Calamawy attended the York Arab American Comedy Festival and starred in Tobe Hooper’s film Djinn which was the first horror film to be produced in the UAE.
