Md Tanzir Islam Britto (born 1990) is a Bangladeshi blogger, activist, and physician, widely known by his alias “সিডাটিভ হিপনোটিক্স”. He was born in Chittagong, Bangladesh and completed his early education in Mumbai. Britto has been writing since 2007, primarily about political satire and movie critiques. He played a key role in the Shahbag Movement in 2013, which was one of the largest mass movements in Bangladesh in recent times. Britto is currently working as a nephrologist and has a private practice. Despite his public persona, he is known to be a private person who enjoys watching documentaries, movies, and TV series.

Education
Britto completed his early education at Bangladesh Bank High School and Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. Later, he attended Ideal College and completed his HSC. Subsequently, he earned his MBBS degree from SSMC. Britto completed his postgraduate training in nephrology from Dhaka Medical College and advanced training in endocrinology from Birdem.

Activism
In 2013, Britto played a key role in organizing the Shahbag Movement, which is considered the biggest mass movement in Bangladesh after the 1990s. However, he was under surveillance by a terrorist group after his involvement in the Shahbag Movement. Britto is also known for organizing a protest against Bangladesh being removed from Test cricket status.
