Mithila Farzana is a Bangladeshi television journalist and news anchor who was born in 13 April in Chandpur, Bangladesh and also raised in there. She is currently working in Ekattor TV as the Current Affairs Editor.
She started out as a News Presenter at Ekushey Television. She is among the most known faces in television, establishing her prominence with her outstanding work as a presenter. She is also a lecturer at the Institute of Disaster Management in the University of Dhaka.

Farzana was born in a Muslim family in Chandpur, Bangladesh. Her father is an government service holder. It cannot be said that money was indigent, but nothing overflowed in her childhood. They passed a middle class life. She has 3 siblings. From her childhood, she loved to read books and gain knowledge. She completed her graduation from Dhaka University. Her parents names are unknown. Career –
She started her career in Bangladesh’s first terrestrial television Ekushey Television (ETV) in 1999 as a news presenter. She has been working in the field of journalism and communication for last two decades . Started with Ekushey television as a freelancer newscaster, gradually worked in ATN Bangla, BBC World Service and in Ekattor Media Ltd. After the shutdown of ETV, Farzana moved on to join ATN Bangla. There she gained much fame in ATN Bangla, which eventually attracted the attention of BBC World Service. She then proceeded to join as a broadcast journalist and hosted BBC Bangladesh Sanglap, a replica of Question Times, as the first female anchor.
