Neten Chokling, also called Neten Chokling Rinpoche is a Tibetan actor, film director and prominent tulku and has been recognized as the fourth Neten Chokling by the sixteenth karmapa and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

Early life
He was born into a poor family in Wandipodzong in Central Bhutan. The karmapa called him Gyurme Dorje, and when he was seven years old, he was taken to the Bir Monastery and Drogo Khyentse Rinpoche in Clement Town , a district with many Tibetan exiles in Dehradun in India . In Rumtek he was already crowned by the karmapa.

Neten Chokling is married and have kids.
Career
He acted in the films De cup from 1999 and Travelers and Magicians from 2003 , both by Khyentse Norbu .
In 2006 he released his first film, which he directed himself, Milarepa about the Buddhist saint Milarepa . In this film, the actress Lhakpa Tsamchoe , among others, plays as Peter Aufschnaiter’s wife in Seven Years in Tibet and as the mother of the grandson of Chief Tinle in Himalayas .
