Rumeen Farhana is a Bangladeshi politician and lawyer who elected to -50 reserved seats for women in the National Assembly members. She elected the last of the 50 reserved seats for women in parliament 2019 on May 8 , “member of parliament” was elected unopposed to the post.

Rumeen Farhana was born in August 19, 1981 into a Muslim family in Islampur in Vijayanagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district. Her father, Oli Ahad, is a Bangladeshi politician and an award winning language soldier. Her grandfather, Abdul Wahab, was the district registrar.
Rumeen Farhana studied in Holy Cross School and Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, she studied in University of London, from the Department of Law and graduated its UK linkanas In the barrister’s degree.
Rumeen Farhana is married women and have kids.
Barrister Rumeen Farhana is a member of the Dhaka Lawyers Association. Besides law and politics, she is known as a Bangladeshi writer and journalist. She is a lawyer of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. She is also the publisher and editor of the daily Ittehad magazine published from Bangladesh.
Rumeen Farhana is the BNP’s central international affairs secretary. She worked as a barrister in the legal profession of the High Court of Bangladesh. In the eleventh Jatiya Sangsad election held on December 7, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party was elected for the first time as a member of parliament without contesting from the reserved women’s seat-1 seat. She represented the BNP as the only female member of the BNP in the eleventh parliamentary election.
Rumeen Farhana received political initiation from her family. Her father, Oli Ahad, is the protagonist of the genocide in the language movement. He was one of the organizers of the War of Liberation in the 5th. That is why he received the independence award. Oli Ahad spent the last five years of his life in prison. Hossein Shaheed Suhrawardy , Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Haque , Maulana Bhasani and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman have done politics. He was the founding organizational secretary of the Awami League . Rumin got into politics by taking his father’s political personality.
