Sandy Botros is the founder of Women Can lead the nonprofit organization/ blog dedicated to helping and inspiring young first generation women. In 2021, she started this organization to build a movement of trailblazing women who are breaking barriers and creating a better world for themselves and the next generation. Botros tries to provide assistance to first generations and international girls who are in need of a guide.

Botros Immigrated to the United States with her family in 2012, and she immediately started her academic achievements journey earning the student of the year award from Dr. Martin Luther King middle school followed by the golden presidential award from the former president Barack Obama.
In 2018, Botros was the valedictorian of her high school class and in the same year she received the Hudson county scholar award for academic excellence. Then she attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey to start her journey to medical school.
Botros is a college Instructor, writing tutor, Academic coach and Clinical researcher. She is included within the community of clinical and translational researchers after receiving a membership in November 2021 from both NJACTS and RITMS
Botros participated in multiple beauty pageants in the United States in 2023. She was a state finalist competing with the title “liberty and prosperity” and she also competed in the East coast USA pageant where she was able to a claim a runner-up
