Early life

Úrsula Corberó was born in August 11, 1989 in Barcelona, Spain. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. She completed her schooling in her hometown and she is graduated from Eòlia, Escola Superior d’Art Dramàtic.

Personal life

Since 2008 she maintained a relationship with the actor Israel Rodriguez , which lasted three years.  Later, in 2011 she maintained a brief five-month affair with Toledo tennis player Feliciano López .  In 2013, she began a two-year engagement with actor and model Andrés Velencoso . 

During filming series Antenna 3 Embassy , Catalan actress met Argentine Chino Darín , with whom she is maintaining a relationship since 2016.

She openly describe herself as a feminist.

Career

2002-2007

It appeared for the first time in the small screen in the year 2002 , in the series Mirall trencat ( TV3 ), taking a leading role. During the years 2005 and 2006 she participated in the series Ventdelplà , playing the character of Sara.

In the national television, it is necessary to emphasize its appearances in series like the boarding school (like Manuela) and other secondary papers in Countdown (in the chapter of the Bretón Institute, 9:23 hours), in 2007.

2008-2011

However, fame came in 2008 with the series Physics or chemistry , where she played one of the main characters, Ruth. A rebellious girl with a tough history behind her but also with a romantic and fighter side. Its exit of the series took place in 2010, at the end of the sixth season of the series and three years after it had begun.

In 2012, she joined the cast of the historical series April 14. The Republic ( spin-off of La señora ). In it, gave life to Beatriz de la Torre, a pure and virginal girl, sick with tuberculosis . Also that year reappeared with Maxi Iglesias in a video message in the series Physics or chemistry , on the occasion of the last chapter of this.

In 2012 , Úrsula Corberó made her debut in the theater with the play Perversiones sexuales en Chicago, directed by David Mamet , with which she toured several Spanish cities such as Madrid , Barcelona and Valencia , among others.  Also in 2012, she starred in the television movie Volare , a feature film about a group of colleagues who love the study of dreams, directed by Joaquín Oristrell and broadcast on TV3 , in which she shared the cast with Joel Joan and Marina Gatell , among others.

In March 2013, she joined the final episodes of the third season of the Spanish Gran Reserva television series , where she played Julia Cortázar during the last five episodes of the third season and the first three of the fourth.  Also that year she is part of the cast of the TV movie of Telecinco Mario Conde: The days of glory and the film Afterparty by Miguel Larraya.

In the cinema premiered that same year the Hispanic-Colombian production Crime with a view to the sea , directed by Gerardo Herrero , and Who killed Bambi? , directed by Santi Amodeo .  She also put voice to Sam meteorologist in the animated children ‘s Rain of Meatballs 2 to hit theaters on December 20.  In addition, she collaborates with the youth group Auryn , being the protagonist of the video clip Heartbreaker , first single from her second album, Antihéroes .

2014

In 2014, she joined the third season of the historical series of Spanish Television Isabel , where she played Margarita de Austria , wife of the only male child of the Catholic Kings Juan de Aragón (Adrián Lamana).  Also that year she participated as a guest star in an episode of the third season of the comedy series With the ass in the air , Antena 3, playing Sofia’s new girlfriend Jorge ( Raúl Arévalo ).

2015

2015 was also a year full of projects for the actress. In the movies we saw her in the comedy Perdiendo el norte with Yon González and Blanca Suárez , and starred in the film How to Survive a Farewell with Natalia de Molina and Brays Efe , among others.  also recorded in Rome series The lady evening , a production of Mediaset between Spain and Italy. She also joins Telecinco’s new comedy Ancladoswith a main role. Where she plays Natalia, a young woman who discovers that her millionaire husband has been imprisoned for tax evasion aboard a luxury cruise ship that he can not pay. The series was canceled after the end of its first season due to its low audience data.

2016

From April 2016 and until July of the same year appeared in the political series of Antena 3 The embassy giving life to Esther, the daughter of the ambassadors of Spain in Bangkok , played by Abel Folk and Belén Rueda . The series was not renewed for a second season due to insufficient data audience for the chain. In film, again step into the shoes of Margaret of Austria in the starting crown . It is a film that serves as a link between the series Isabel and Carlos, emperor king , both productions of Televisión Española .

Awards

Úrsula receives, for the first time, a nomination as “Best Actress Protagonist” at the Feroz Awards . She is also nominated in the MIM Series , in the category “Best Dramatic Actress”.
