Zafrir is a popular multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer, who started his musical journey in elementary school, during which he learned to play various instruments including piano, guitar, etc. At home, he listened to both popular music and music from around the world, as well as being interested in traditional ethnic music, resulting in his researching many styles and learning to play authentic instruments from different cultures: Greek bouzouki, Celtic harp, Persian tar, Turkish oud, santur, and Much more. Zafrir’s interest in discovering new worlds of music is admirable as he focuses on music from Morocco, Africa, Kurdistan, Yemen and more. In 2018, Armin van Buuren of Zafrir entered the international electronic scene with the track “United” with Alok and Vinny VC. For this track, Jaffrey wrote the hook and recorded 400 people to get the audience singing along. Zafrir then teamed up with Alok and together they released Vale Vale, the track chosen for the soundtrack of the computer game Free Fire. In 2021, he released a track with Afrojack on record label Sony, titled Boom Boom Pa. Over the past few years, Zafrir has continued to release tracks, collaborating with artists such as Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Armin Van Buuren, Kshmar, Alok, Steve Aoki, W&W, Timmy Trumpet and Blastjax.
