Zahidur Rahman, popularly known as Zahid Abedin, is a journalist. He is the founder and CEO of the renowned Bangla news portal, Noyadin. Born in Munshiganj (Bikrampur), Bangladesh, Zahidur Rahman is the son of Joynal Abedin and Rokeya Begum. In addition to his accomplishments in journalism, Zahidur Rahman is also an accomplished writer. His first poetry book, “Ami O Agmir Duratta,” was published at the Bangla Academy Book Fair in 2020, showcasing his talent and creativity as a writer. He is a member of the “Dhaka Union of Journalists” and editor of the famous Bangali News Portal Noyadin-Dot-Com.

Zahidur Rahman was born on 27 August 1979 in Munshiganj (Bikrampur), district of Bangladesh. His late father Joynal Abedin was a socialite and businessman and his mother Rokeya Begum a housewife. He completed his secondary and higher secondary education at KL Jubilee School and College in Old Dhaka. He received an Honors and Masters’s Degree in English Literature from Dhaka International University, Bangladesh.
