Chorki is a Bangladeshi subscription video on demand streaming service. It is operated by Prothom Alo under Mediastar Limited, owned by Transcom Group . Charki was launched on July 12, 2021.  The service primarily features original content and other content provided by third parties, including television series, movies and documentaries. The service also offers access to some content for free without a subscription.

Background and history
Bangladesh has become a growing market for OTT. Foreign streaming services are doing business successfully in Bangladesh. But there was very little local content. In 2020, Mediastar Ltd. announced the launch of an OTT platform the following year and named it Charki.  In April 2021, the Indian High Commission shared 38 documentary films with Charki.  On 12 July 2021, Charki launched with an online launch event due to the lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Charki started the journey with the motto Film, Fun, Furti . Jaya Ahsan and many other stars attended the opening ceremony online.  Charaki is currently available on Android , iOS , Apple TV, available for Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung Smart TV.  
Chorki mainly focuses on Bengali language content.  They also show Turkish and Iranian films with Bengali subtitles. They have two categories of content, premium and free. Subscription required to view premium content. They show movies, serials, programs, non-fiction content, music videos, Charki original content and many more Bengali and foreign language video content.  They started their journey with more than 200 films, TV serials, documentaries, TV dramas etc.
