Mouni Roy is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films and television. She began her career in 2006 with the soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. After featuring in several other shows, she gained wider attention for playing Sati in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (2011). She also starred in Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq and participated in Zara Nachke Dikha (2008), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 (2014), Box Cricket League 2 (2016) and Lip Sing Battle (2017).
Mouni Roy became one of the highest-paid Hindi television actresses for starring as a shape-shifting serpent in the supernatural thriller Naagin (2015–2016) on Colors TV. She reprised her role in Naagin 2 (2016-2017). Mouni Roy made her Hindi film debut in Reema Kagti’s sports drama Gold (2018).
