Biography


Shakib Khan was born and raised in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. His father Abdur Rab was a government officer and his mother Nurjahan Begum was a housewife. Shakib Khan attended Narayanganj High School and later enrolled at Dhaka College. However, he left college before completing his studies to pursue a career in the film industry.

Shakib Khan made his acting debut in the film “Ananta Bhalobasha” in 1999, directed by Shohanur Rahman Shohan. The film was a commercial success and established Shakib as a rising star in the industry.
